Exogenous

Exogenous is an interactive new media work exploring the active role we must take in perceiving and shaping our environments, both individual and collective. Inspired by geologic processes such as plate tectonics, lava flow, and hydraulic erosion—forces that move slowly until they don’t—a seemingly static composition erupts in color and motion when engaged by a viewer, leaving behind only traces of their presence and a quiet reminder that anything can happen.
