Atmospheric Tides

Atmospheric Tides is one of two generative artworks created for the Immersive Workspace created by Collab at the new Elite Merit global headquarters in Dubai, UAE. These works respond to the environment via real-time data inputs, including tide cycles, current weather conditions and solar intensity, leading to slowly evolving forms reflecting the environment the work is situated in. Finally, a circadian cycle introduces a day-to-night dynamic each day, yielding a rich compositional variety intraday and over the course of years.
