Proprioception

Proprioception is an exhibition of selected interactive paintings created by new media artist Lake Heckaman. These generative compositions are inspired by the familiar yet abstract beauty of the natural world, creating aesthetic and emotional landscapes which viewers explore through interaction. Each gesture disrupts the canvas, revealing deeper layers of structure and intention within the work. Interaction is perception.

This installation cycled through four of Heckaman's generative compositions: Timelapse, Smoke Signals, Terra Incognita and Fleeting Memory.
