This series of scans were captured around San Francisco, California in early 2025, just as spring was in full bloom and bees flitted about on every corner while passersby spent more time on their phones than looking at the beautiful surroundings.

Through creating interactive artworks using flowers and plants that caught his eye, Heckaman directs his own attention to the places of beauty and calm in his environment, while subtly reminding viewers to do the same.
