Firmament is a real-time generative artwork inspired by the horizon; where land and sky blend into an ever-shifting expanse. Continuously evolving without repetition, it offers an atmosphere of calm and focus, while remaining open for each viewer to bring their own meaning.

Its design is rooted in years of research into the mathematics of natural pattern formation and the emotional benefits of visual complexity. Custom generative systems evoke clouds, waves, and landscapes, producing an endlessly evolving canvas that suggests infinite possibility.

This piece is built as a generative system, where each pixel is colored based on custom code executing 60 times every second. This means the artwork is not a single image or video, but a set of rules and interactions that perpetually produce new visual moments.
